GRIDAKL
The GridAKL innovation hub was established as the showcase for innovation in Auckland’s ICT and digital media industries, and a key focal point in the long-term development of Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct. O/TG's directors led the strategy, establishment and delivery of the GridAKL brand, innovation hub and events and activation programme.
COLLIDERWGTN
ColliderWgtn is an activation and events programme held within a bustling and vibrant tech hub in Wellington, New Zealand. The ColliderWgtn mission is to help transform Wellington into an innovation capital and an internationally recognised smart capital by supporting the Wellington technology, design and innovative business community. O/TG’s directors led the strategy, establishment and delivery of the tech hub and programme.
Other projects
Innovation Ecosystem Expansion Review
Engaged by local economic development agency to undertake a review of the Auckland regional innovation ecosystem to identify opportunities for improved activation of existing assets within the ecosystem, with a view towards increasing acceleration of companies and sectors.
Innovation Precinct Expansion Feasibility
Engaged by local economic development agency to assess the feasibility of a regional expansion of Auckland’s innovation precinct to build a broader connected and curated regional community, with the aim of increasing collaboration, accelerating the efforts, capability and growth of businesses in the ecosystem.
Regional Innovation Hub Business Case & Proposal
Engaged by an international advisory firm to develop a business case and proposal for a regional innovation hub in Russia. The hub is to provide a home for innovation and commercialisation activity to support the technological and social transformation of the region. It is intended that the hub will be integrated into a global network of coworking and innovation ecosystems facilitating international connectivity.
REGIONAL INNOVATION HUB REVIEW
Engaged by an Australian regional economic development agency to review their regional innovation hub operations, spatial plan, functions and business model as part of the Agency’s future precinct strategy.
SOCIAL HOUSING HUB SOCIAL ENTERPRISE INTEGRATION ADVISORY
Engaged by non profit agency to advise on social enterprise strategy as part of a new Social Housing Hub which combines residential housing with social, medical and other support services, along with social enterprise.
Business Hub Feasibility
Engaged by a local economic development agency to develop a clear understanding of what would be required from a regional Business Hub, and to advise on next steps to make this a reality.
Export Hub Development Plan
Engaged by regional airport to be part of a consortium to scope out a development plan for a concept for a hub (both physical and virtual) that targeted key primary export and tech companies around NZ looking to build their reach into global market.
Learning Incubator
Engaged by central government agency to design and deliver a learning incubator for a natural disaster recovery program.
